The Four Year B.E Information Science and Engineering is a unique programme launched in the year 2018-2019 to produce Analytics professionals to cater to the growing industry demand in the areas of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

From the HOD’s Desk

ise_hodThe Syllabi of Information Science and Engineering programme is designed in collaboration with academic and industry experts. Internships in Industry or partner universities across the globe are facilitated.  Programme electives are specifically designed to provide hands-on skill sets required to produce industry-ready graduates.

The coursework of the Information Science and Engineering includes most of the core courses of B.E CSE programme and specialized courses like Data Management, Statistics, Machine Learning, Big Data Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization and Analytics Tools.

Graduates of the Information Science and Engineering Undergraduate Program will have the ability to:
PSO 1: Understand and choose appropriate models for representing various information states like storage, processing, communication with security and privacy

PSO 2: Analyze Big-data, apply machine learning methodologies to derive meaningful intelligence.

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.


Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.


Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.


The problems that cannot be solved by straightforward application of knowledge, theories and techniques applicable to the engineering discipline.


Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
